Penguin Cafe

The Penguin cafe was an interior and furniture design project created by Studio Wood. Each piece of furniture was either re-loved from the existing cafe furniture or custom made to the space and its requirements. Keeping in mind the utilization of this space as a cafe by day and event space by night we designed tables with different heights that could be paired with chairs, stools and to hold a beverage. The edge to edge bookshelf on the wall is a prime feature of the grid covered elevation that houses bestselling books and other decor. The material directory consists of black mild steel, burl wood, charcoal toned MDF and pine wood.
