Kochi Biennale

As part of Kochi Muziris Biennale’s pavilion space at Cabral Yard, Kochi, Studio Wood was commissioned to design and create site specific furniture for the general space, cafeteria and art room. The pieces were built keeping in mind three principles: circularity, climate and user experience. Many visits to old town Kochi acquainted us with the different materials and crafts from the region such as cane, bamboo, vetiver and jute that became the palette for this collection of furniture christened The Objective Basket.
